Located: In the Province of Cartago

How to get there:  Departure from San Jose at 8:00 approximately, course to the Irazú Volcano, located in the province of Cartago.

Duration: 5 hours approximately

Facilities: Transfer from San Jose hotels, bilingual guide, entrance fee.

Activities: It is one of the volcanoes which is possible to come up to crater and enjoy of the stateliness of its beauty. In the way we will pass for fertile cultivated grounds of vegetables and all kind of plants as ferns. In the top of the volcano the principal craters can be contemplated and in a clear day it is possible to see the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. Returning to San José at the beginning of the afternoon, you will pass for the city of Cartago and will visit the Basilica of the virgin of the angels, place of peregrination of many parishioners.
