TORTUGUERO 3 DAYS/2 NIGHTS

Day 1: San Jose / Tortuguero
Departure very early to the adventure of Tortuguero National Park. The road to Tortuguero has many other surprises, as example, the Braulio Carrillo National Park where we will drive right across it. Breakfast will be served in a typical restaurant on the road. Also, before taking the boat to the canals, we will be traveling throughout thousands of banana plantations. This tour represents one of the finest opportunities to see the wild life in Central America. From the boats the visitors regularly see monkeys; small crocodile’s wild lives viewing, sloth, iguanas, toucans and many other species. Tortuguero beaches are famous because of the giant ¨ Green turtles, which nest their eggs in the Caribbean sand (July through September). Lunch, Dinner and lodging at your lodge in Tortuguero. Day 2: San Jose / Tortuguero
The jungle adventure continues by boat trips on the canals but also a visit to the Tortuguero Hill will be made. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner at your lodge in Tortuguero. Overnight in Tortuguero. (B,L,D).

Day 3: Tortuguero / San Jose
After breakfast, you will board the boat for your return to San Jose. A lunch stop will be provided en route. (B,L).

EVERGREEN LODGE

Location: Located 10 minutes by boat from the entrance to Tortuguero National Park, it sites in front of a tranquil canal in the marvelous network of navigable canals, considered one of the most exotic and biologically rich areas in the country.  

Services: Evergreen is an excellent lodge comprised of 26 bungalows constructed in a perfect style and with respect for the nature that surround them. They have private bath, double bed and terrace.

Facilities: The hotel has a bar, restaurant, pool, and activities that can you can do in the area such as boat tours of the national park’s canals, hikes and turtle-nesting tours (in season).

SAMOA LODGE

Location: Is located next to the National Park Tortuguero.

Services: The rooms have private bathroom, 2 double rooms.

Facilities: Restaurant, bar.

LAGUNA LODGE

Location: This is an eco-hotel with a touch of style and comfort. The hotel sits on a beach on the northern Costa Rican Caribbean, with an exclusive location on a strip of land between the ocean and the Tortuguero Lagoon.

Services: The hotel have 80 rooms with views of the gardens and forest that surrounds them. The rooms offer private bath, hot water, ceiling fan, reading lamps, and wooden seats outside.

Facilities: The hotel has two bars, the pool has a hydro massage waterfall and a small island, ranchos with hammocks for taking a siesta, reading or just resting; six hectares full of trees and exotic plants; open-air butterfly garden with specials of local plants; private paths; direct access to the beach; a building inspired by Gaudi’s architecture, which houses a small conference room, handicraft shop, covered embarkations for transporting tourists, and open-air boats for trips along the canals. All the boats are equipped with life jackets and rain ponchos.
 

PACHIRA LODGE

Location: This is Tortuguero’s newest lodge and sits on 14 hectares of land just 5 minutes from Tortuguero National Park’s main entrance.

Services: The hotel has 110 rooms distributed throughout the property without creating a dense group of constructions. Instead, it creates Caribbean magic. Each room has its own space, hidden in the hotel’s vegetation. Rooms have three twin beds or two twins and a queen-size bed, with private bath, hot water and fans.

Facilities: Restaurant, the beautiful gardens and rustic rooms, combined with exuberant jungle vegetation and exotic flora and fauna create the perfect balance between comfort and nature, swimming pool.
