How to get there:

From San Jose San Jose-Naranjo-Zarcero-Ciudad Quesada-Florencia-Tanque- La Fortuna Take the Panamerican Highway #1 North toAlajuela. You will pass the Airport and continue driving straight until you reach the sign to Naranjo on your right hand side. Turn right and continue to Naranjo downtown. As you arrive Naranjo follow the signs to Zarcero and Ciudad Quesada. Once in Ciudad Quesada, follow the signs to El Tanque and La Fortuna. When you reach La Fortuna follow the signs to Arenal Volcano.

Duration: 7 hours approximately

Facilities: Bilingual guide, transportation from Arenal hotels, park entrance fee, beverages and dinner. 

Activities: In this tour you will visit the Arenal volcano specifically where the lava flows. You will go at Los Tucanes or Mirador el Silencio, depending where the lava flows. It will be possible to observe the great variety of plants, animals and all the Arenal National park wildlife. Also, you will have to chance to admire beautiful lava rocky formations. During the tour, your experimented guide will give you interesting and educational information about the volcano and the national park. The tour will finish with a stop at the thermal waters to relax for a time. To end the tour, you will have the chance to eat and enjoy a tasty typical dinner, in buffet type in Ecotermales, with national and international meals.
