PACUARE LODGE 2 DAYS / 1 NIGHT                                          

Day 1

You'll depart San José early in the morning, you will visit to Cartago and look Irazu Volcano and Turrialba, in the route you take the tipical breakfast, then you continue to Rivera Pacuare when the guide will load your gear into dry bags, prepare the equipment and give you complete safety and paddle instruction. The first day's Class III rapids welcome you to the Pacuare gorge's charm as you raft deep in the heart of primary rainforest. While your guides prepare you a hearty picnic lunch on the riverbank, you'll be led through the jungle to an enchanting waterfall and pool to swim. Overnight in Pacuare.


Day 2
After a hearty breakfast and loading the rafts, you'll prepare to paddle down the Pacuare gorge. On the return drive to San José.
 
This package includes:
- Professional bilingual guides,
- Rafting equipment,

River Wear
- Rubber soled shoes (tennis or similar)
- Shorts and a T-Shirt or a Swimsuit

Services: The lodge has bungalows with thatched palm roofs, carefully designed in an indigenous style to blend into the surrounding forest. Nestled within a forest that has stood sentry for eons, each bungalow comes complete with private bathroom and shower, as well as freshly linened beds that promise a languid repose, surrounded by the intoxicating scents of the tropical rainforest.

2.    RÍOS TROPICALES

 

Location: On the banks of the Pacuare River, immersed in the heart of the Pacuare Protected Zone.

 

Services: The lodge has comfortable rooms with Cabecar Indian style architecture will be our host. Private bathrooms and showers in every room. Our own hydro-plant provides clean power for our basic needs.

 

Facilities: Gardens, trails and more waterfalls as well as the richest view across the Pacuare River are present company. River guides turn into chefs and provide some very exquisite meals during your stay at the Lodge.
